Accessibility statement for the IKE sharing

Targa Telematics S.p.A. is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with Law no. 4 of 9 January 2004.

This accessibility statement applies to the website https://ike.targatelematics.com

Compliance Status

This website is partially compliant with the requirements set out in Appendix A of the UNI CEI EN 301549 standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.

Non-accessible Content

The content listed below is not currently accessible for the following reasons:

a) Non-compliance with Law no. 4 of 9 January 2004

Datepicker (jQuery UI): This component is not fully keyboard-accessible and does not properly implement ARIA attributes or semantic roles (role) needed to communicate selection status to assistive technologies.

Modals (Bootstrap): The modals do not implement a focus management system (focus trap), making navigation difficult for users relying on assistive technologies and disrupting the logical focus sequence.

Interactive maps (Leaflet + React): The maps are not keyboard-accessible and lack appropriate ARIA labels and semantic roles (role), which impairs understanding and interaction.

Pop-ups (SweetAlert2): ): The pop-ups are not manageable via keyboard; focus is not correctly assigned upon opening, and ARIA attributes providing context and title are missing.

Custom select menus (Select2): : Keyboard interaction is partial or difficult; not all information is properly announced by screen readers, limiting accessibility for visually impaired users.

Heading structure: The use of heading tags (H1, H2, etc.) does not always follow a consistent hierarchy, making it harder for screen readers to convey the document structure clearly.

Responsive layout (Webview): Some views—particularly on mobile devices—feature interactive elements that are too close together or inadequately sized, hindering interaction for users with motor or visual impairments.

Colour contrast: Some site sections use colour combinations that do not meet the minimum contrast requirements between text and background. These issues were detected through automated tools such as WAVE.

Visual focus: In some interface components (e.g., cookie banner), the visual indication of focus is insufficient, failing to meet minimum contrast and visibility requirements.

Image text alternatives: Some images are missing the alt attribute or have inadequate descriptions, making visual content inaccessible to users who rely on assistive technologies.

Forms: In a limited number of forms, labels are not correctly associated with input fields due to missing for or aria-labelledby attributes. This compromises accessibility for users with assistive technologies.

Currently, no accessible alternatives are available for the above content.
